BPG classes and support groups are free of charge and open to anyone with PD, family members and friends.
Every Wednesday afternoon, September through June, some 40 to 50 BPG participants, family members and friends take the elevator up to the 4th floor of the Mark Morris Dance Center to dance.
BPG offers Fitness for PDSM classes Tuesdays and Thursdays because it is just as important for persons with PD to get fit as it is for virtually everyone.
On Tuesdays at 2:00 PM, composer and gifted musician William Wade teaches a singing class. Participants learn how Broadway stars project their voices loud and clear, while singing Broadway show tunes and other popular songs.
Every Friday, Pam Quinn, a former professional dancer diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease in 1996, leads a class based on dance-informed methods she has devised to cope with her own movement challenges.
